This MU‑2 interior represents a complete transformation shaped through a close, hands‑on collaboration with our clients from Germany. They approached us with a clear and ambitious idea: a Tesla‑inspired cabin defined by modern contrast, sculpted seating, and carbon-fiber cabinetry. It was a concept that several other shops had already declined. For us at AFTERGLOW, that challenge became the starting point.
From the earliest conversations, it was clear that this project would require more than standard refurbishment work. The clients brought clear ideas, strong aesthetic preferences, and a desire for an interior that felt clean, contemporary, and unmistakably personal. Through open dialogue, we shaped a design path that honored the bold design they were committed to while ensuring every element could be engineered precisely for this iconic airframe.
Vision Brought to Life
Achieving the desired result meant re‑thinking major components from the ground up. The seat foam was sculpted through multiple iterations, adjusting geometry, proportions, and stitching until the contours matched the clients’ expectations.
Carbon-fiber cabinetry added to the structure and visual identity of the cabin. Fabricated specifically for this aircraft, it allowed us to deliver the sharp lines, modern sophistication, and technical clarity that define the interior. The contrast between deep blacks, crisp whites, and the subtle sheen of carbon fiber creates a visual rhythm that feels both contemporary and intentional.

Nothing in this cabin is off-the-shelf, each part engineered to achieve the sculpted geometry and modern identity the project demanded.
